Cpt. Caveman's TTM Autographs #35

Hello and welcome back for another weekly TTM successes with new autographs and tested addresses. Sadly former first lady Nancy Reagan passed away last Sunday at the age of 94 and we also lost legendary music producer Sir George Martin this week at the age of 90. He was The Beatles producer who helped create so much amazing music over the years and was always great at signing for fans. Why collect autographs? Well for some its purely for profit for most of us its because we love this hobby. Some just see it as a bunch of people who collect pieces of paper people have scribbled on but for us it's allowed us to connect with people who have made history and keep a little signed piece of history to pass on. Its brought us closer to our favorite celebs or sports star and we have been able to show them some appreciation thru our fan letter and for them to return some in the form of an autograph. Its given my daughter and me a special bond by collecting together. Either IP or TTM autograph collecting it makes no difference. Its always a great feeling to get an autograph from someone you admire. As hobbies go TTM collecting is a fairly inexpensive hobby. IP and Conventions are a different story with fee's and travel expenses, don't get me wrong stamps and photos add up but for a fraction of what some people charge to sign at cons you can get them TTM for almost nothing. Why do we collect autographs? Because we love doing it and as long as you have fun and enjoy what your doing and we do, I say graph on. Each signature tells a story and has a memory attached to it that will be passed along to Winter one day and who knows maby Winter and her kids (way way way down in the future lol) can keep adding to what I started way back in 1986, anyways that's why we collect now on to the weeks successes. Monday Winter received both pictures she sent to former Tuskegee Airman Jack Bryant back. Along with the signed pictures he also sent her a signed History of the Tuskegee Airmen pamphlet and only took ten days to return. Thursday was a great mail day. First My favorite actor of all time Sean Connery returned our picture from Highlander back signed in just over three months to return. We noticed he was going to be in New York awhile back and decided to take a shot and write. Super happy it payed off and I finally added my favorite actor, favorite Bond, and favorite Immortal (that's a reference to the Highlander films. If you haven't seen the first one I recommend you do its a great film) to my collection. Next another amazing success from music legend and founding member of The Lovin' Spoonful John Sebastian. With a quick two weeks return time he signed both pictures we sent plus he sent a signed paper harmonica great addition to our collection from this Rock Hall of Fame member and original Woodstock performer. After that we received both pictures back signed from Miss Noel Neill who played Louis Lane in the old Superman serials and super fast at seven days to return. To finish off this great day Louise Fletcher signed my Cuckoos Nest book and a picture from my collectors box set DVD. Winter sent them as a surprise for my birthday and they just showed up just a tad late but still super cool to have. Friday brought a fail from Whitey Herzog. In less than a week our SASE returned with our 4x6 and blank autograph card unsigned. Not sure what happened because the address was working and IV seen more replys so no clue. IV heard he may charge $10 but not for sure ill keep you updated as i learn more. To finish off the week we got both pictures back from Rocker Tommy Lee signed. This amazing musician and Motley Crue drummer took less than a month to reply. That's it for this week. Ill be back next week with more TTM autograph collecting goodness.
